adesso Saarbruecken introduces itself

The Saarbruecken office is located in the heart of the Saarland capital. It is conveniently located in the Eurobahnhof quarter, a new office district behind Saarbruecken's main railway station. In addition, there is a public multi-storey car park diagonally opposite the office as well as the north station car park.

In the modern Saarbrucken office, the adessi have access to a fully equipped kitchen as a meeting place as well as cosy seating areas, which are often and gladly used for lunch and coffee breaks. A foosball table and dartboard are available for fun during breaks.

>> What makes adesso so successful and unique for me is the incredible creative freedom that employees get with us from day 1. While others ask "Why?", we at adesso say "Why not". This positive and optimistic basic mood in the team is simply great!

Office manager: Linda Truong

Culinary

The Saarlanders' motto for life, "Hauptsach gudd gess", and the relaxed French way of life, "savoir-vivre", ensure a wide selection of dishes from all over the world. The office is centrally located in Saarbrücken and many restaurants, from small bistros to star cuisine, are within walking distance.

Directly behind our building is the QUARTIER, which impresses with good prices, delicious dishes and fast service - incidentally, winner of the Saarland edition of the TV restaurant show "Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal" in 2021. Numerous bakery and fast-food chains can also be found right nearby at Saarbrucken's main railway station. On the other side of the said station begins the pedestrian zone, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of food of all origins and price categories. Whether it's food to go in the Food Corner of the Europa-Galerie shopping centre or a cosy restaurant for dinner with colleagues or customers - there's something to suit every taste.

Special features

In addition to free tea, coffee specialities, soft drinks and the after-work drink, there is also fresh fruit and sweet snacks. In the future, there will also be a barbecue available for general use during lunch breaks or for evening events. Once a month, the adessi get together for a staff breakfast. The perfect opportunity to get to know the other adessi better.

After-work events are also planned with local cooperation partners, e.g. pizza events, guest lectures by researchers and exciting personalities from the region. Projects with students from the surrounding universities and networking events with start-ups are also included.

After work

Within walking distance is the large pedestrian zone with its diverse shopping opportunities. It ends in the picturesque St. Johanner Markt with its historic houses and the famous Johanneskirche.

The Nauwieser Viertel is also not far away. The nightlife district is a real recommendation for all connoisseurs. The baroque Saarbrücken Castle, the imposing Ludwig Church or the St. Johanner Markt with its old town flair are always worth a visit after work. The Franco-German Garden or the banks of the Saar are particularly suitable for a nice walk. In summer, the annual summer festival attracts people to Saarbrücken's city centre.

The neighbouring town of Völklingen is home to the Völklingen Ironworks, a world heritage site. There are also numerous things to do in the region's mining history - from museums to visitor mines.
