TenneT is one of the leading transmission network operators both in Europe and in Germany. TenneT supplies around 41 million consumers with electricity via its high-voltage and extra-high voltage network.
adesso collaborated with TenneT to develop an IT concept that would expand the existing SAP PM system to map TenneT’s requirements for planning and managing the offshore windfarms and to migrate the legacy data. To meet the specific needs of the offshore facilities, messages and lists were expanded, reports created and the SAP BI interface adapted.
TenneT now has an SAP-integrated solution for managing its onshore and offshore facilities. The solution meets the requirements of both onshore and offshore facilities relating to planning and management, and the two types of facilities can be maintained and further developed independently of each other.
